I started with stitch and fold candle-holders for the holidays. Fall is here, I thought I should make fun decorations. That led to the fabric pumpkins and then more candle-holders. Before I knew it I was buried in orders from friends and family. That was the ah-ha moment. Why not turn my love for sewing and crafting into a business. Next thing I know, my daughter is telling me "mom you have so many things you do - you should open a business and call it Nana's Goodies, that way all the crafting, sewing, canning and so many other things can fit under that business name," and of course, she was right on target with a great idea. (...my daughter is way more crafty and artsy than her mother)
